These modules are tailored for local government officials, regulators, community leaders, business partners, and educators. AboitizPower will use them to conduct onsite learning sessions aimed at improving energy literacy and fostering informed discussions on power generation, transmission, and distribution.
Focusing on the technical, operational, and engineering aspects of the Philippine power system, the project builds on AboitizPower’s earlier Power 101 series with the University of the Philippines Los Baños, which addressed the system’s economic and financial dimensions.
“This initiative is a strategic step to reach out to our stakeholders by creating a platform for sharing knowledge and information,” said AboitizPower First Vice President for External Relations Jason Magnaye, emphasizing the company’s goal to promote a shared understanding of the country’s energy landscape.

Mapua University will ensure the academic framework behind the modules, supporting stakeholders upskilling and capacity-building. “AboitizPower will bring industry expertise in this partnership, while Mapua will ensure the academic framework is in place,” said Mapua President and CEO Dr. Dodjie Maestrecampo.
The collaboration represents a strong industry-academe partnership aimed at empowering communities and institutions through energy education.
