A SPECIAL event for its Ka-panda partner riders was held by foodpanda Logistics recently as part of the festivities celebrating 11 years of operations in the Philippines. The “hybrid” 11UP event – which saw over 100 Ka-panda riders from across the country joining onsite in Pasig, and thousands more watching the event online – was punctuated by exciting prizes and giveaways worth over P1.3 million.

The grand prizes, which included brand new motorcycles, were awarded to four lucky winners representing different regions: Mark Angelo Bojocan from Mega Manila, Jomar Cabrera from Luzon, Rico Jay Rotano from Visayas, and Regine Canoy from Mindanao.
According to foodpanda Logistics Rider Experience Lead, Ron Sanders, the event was a way to celebrate the company’s anniversary with its hardworking Ka-panda partners and ensure that riders from all over the country were recognized. He emphasized that the motorcycles were a fitting grand prize, as they also serve as a tool for the riders’ livelihoods.
Sanders also highlighted that the event was just one of many initiatives planned for the riders. Upcoming activities include visits to rider communities, safety training, and exclusive discounts. One of the most significant benefits is a year-long fuel discount program with Caltex, offering Ka-panda riders a P10 per liter discount at stations nationwide.
