A nine-year-old girl with umbilical granuloma received medical attention thanks to GMA Kapuso Foundation.

According to Mel Tiangco's report on "24 Oras," Monday, the condition of the child, Joy, was first noticed two weeks after her birth.

Joy's family took her for a checkup, but they could not afford the operation recommended for her. She endured her condition for years, unable to play with other children who kept teasing her about her bleeding navel.

With the help of the GMA Kapuso Foundation, Joy was taken to the Philippine Children's Medical Center (PCMC) for a checkup.

For those who wish to help Joy undergo the operation that she needs,, donations may be made via Metrobank, Land Bank, BDO, Bank of Commerce, UnionBank, PNB, Cebuana Lhuillier, GCash, Lazada, and Shopee.
