ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines — Police yesterday arrested a man tagged in the killing of three family members in Barangay Bolong here, after a coordinated tracking operation.
Capt. Abelito Abbilani, Police Station 3 chief, said Ronnie Simborio-Bautista, a relative of the victims, would be charged with three counts of murder.
Bautista allegedly had a grudge with Rodel Espinoza when he strafed the latter’s house in Sitio Manga. Espinoza’s wife Jenny and their 19-year-old daughter Jenrose died in the incident.
Abbilani said Bautista initially evaded arrest, but was prodded by local government officials to surrender.
