Zambales lawmaker eyes more development projects

CABANGAN, Zambales — After the successful implementation of various infrastructure, medical, education and health projects last year, Rep. Doris Maniquiz is looking to launch more development projects for the second district of Zambales in 2025.

Recently, Maniquiz spearheaded multiple inaugurations of infrastructure projects in the town of Cabangan as part of her initial projects in the province of Zambales.

These include the concreting of Felix Road in Barangay San Isidro worth P23,642,382; the rehabilitation of Barangay Longos Road Phase 2 worth P4,887,431; and the repair and rehabilitation of the school building of Barangay Arew Elementary School worth P3,321, 699.

Other completed projects include the repair and rehabilitation of the Lungos Integrated School in Barangay San Isidro worth P3,433,008; and the inauguration of Barangay Apo-Apo Elementary School.

Maniquiz was warmly welcomed by the residents, students, and teachers that coincided with a small program to honor and thank the unending support of the lawmaker, not just in the town of Cabangan, but the entire second district of Zambales.

Maniquiz also thanked House Speaker Martin Romualdez, Zambales Gov. Hermogenes Ebdane, Jr. and Tingog Party-List for supporting her programs in the second district of Zambales.

Board Member Lugil Ragadio, Cabangan Mayor Ronald Apostol, and officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways led by First District Engineer Allan Ladines were present during the inaugurations of the multiple projects in Cabangan.
