The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is making it easier for Filipinos to request and obtain civil documents like birth, marriage, and death certificates, as well as CENOMAR (Certificate of No Marriage) and CENODEATH (Certificate of No Death).
The PSA has introduced two new services, “Viewable Online” and “DocPrint,” which aim to make the process more accessible and convenient. The new system allows individuals to request documents online through the official PSA Serbilis website at psaserbilis.com.ph.
After an online request, users can access a digital copy of their document, known as a “Viewable Online,” using a unique access code.
The “DocPrint” service then allows users to get a physical copy of their requested document without the need for a prior appointment. This printed copy can be obtained from any PSA Civil Registry System (CRS) outlet. This new process bypasses the traditional requirement for an appointment, significantly reducing the waiting time for citizens.
According to the PSA, these innovations are part of the Civil Registry System – Information Technology Project Phase II, an initiative focused on improving public services.
The agency stated that the new system is “easier, more accessible, and more convenient.”
