MANILA, Philippines — Kapuso actor and filmmaker Xian Lim is officially a private pilot.

On Thursday, Lim announced his achievement on Instagram, sharing photos of himself in his pilot uniform
"It's official! PRIVATE PILOT [airplane emoji] Still in the clouds from everything that happened," Lim wrote in the caption.
Lim extended his gratitude to his aviation school, Top Flite Academy in Subic, as well as his instructors.
"More flights, more aerodromes, and more and more cross country flights to come!" his post continued.

The 35-year-old further revealed that his next goal is to obtain a commercial pilot license.
It was in Sept. 2024 when Lim first shared that he enrolled a flying course. Since then, he has been documenting his training journey on social media.

He then marked his first solo flight by November 2024.
Reflecting on his progress, he remarked, "Malayo pa ang lalakbayin pero malayo layo na rin. (There's still a long way to go, but I've already come quite far)."
His next goal is to obtain a commercial pilot license.
