MANILA, Philippines — Imagine lush rows of greenery in an area that can be truly relaxing for the eyes, especially in a tranquil ambiance amid towering skyscrapers and urban structures. Visualize a diverse range of plants that calm the spirit and soothe the mind.
Wyndham Garden Manila Bay will soon be welcoming guests seeking a convenient opportunity to enjoy refreshing surroundings, without the need for lengthy travel, traffic congestion or extended flights.
Standing tall along Roxas Boulevard in Parañaque City, Wyndham Garden Manila Bay is now in the final stages of preparing for its opening. It is built to create something fresh—a modern, nature-inspired escape within the bustling city.
The hotel is just a kilometer away from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), and a stone’s throw from Baclaran Church, SM Mall of Asia, Ayala Malls Manila Bay and City of Dreams Manila.
As the first Wyndham Garden in the Philippines and the 20th property under the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts Group in the country, the hotel carries a unique story. The word “garden” itself guided its concept: freshness, balance and a resort-like calm within the city.
Wyndham Garden Manila Bay’s primary goal is to create a space where guests can relax, recharge and reconnect with nature, even while being right in the heart of Manila Bay.
“It’s a refreshing take on urban hospitality—one that truly reflects what Wyndham Garden stands for,” says Wyndham Garden Manila Bay GM Benedict Bryan Alava.

Local and foreign guests can expect an extraordinary, rejuvenating stay the moment they step inside the hotel, which is designed to evoke the calm and rejuvenating feel of a resort in the heart of the city.
“We’re working on completing a portion of our rooms for the soft opening, while the rest of the property continues to take shape. The hotel concept was shaped under the guidance of our hospitality consultant, James Lau, who helped us blend nature-inspired comfort with modern functionality,” Alava shares.
With the smallest room at 40 square meters, the hotel gives its guests that feeling of breathing space and balance while staying close to everything Manila has to offer.
Executive chef Andrew Ko has been hands-on from the very start in developing a menu that strikes the perfect balance between Filipino favorites and international dishes. He’s bringing in a bit of fusion, too, so guests can expect a dining experience that’s both familiar and exciting.
One of the challenges for Chef Andrew is creating a menu that appeals to both local and international guests. “We want to ensure we have a good balance of local and international offerings… Our menu will include must-try Filipino dishes—some will be classic, while others will offer a modern twist. We want our foreign guests to discover Filipino cuisine at Wyndham,” chef Andrew says.
Guests can book a stay at any of their 300 well-appointed rooms, each complementing natural tones and soft textures with modern amenities to create a space that truly exudes comfort.
The hotel offers amenities that can make anyone’s stay indubitably relaxing and fun. Among them are an outdoor pool, a fully equipped fitness center, and meeting rooms and banquet facilities suitable for intimate gatherings or corporate events.
While Wyndham Garden Manila Bay is presently focused on ensuring that every guest enjoys a seamless and refreshing experience as it opens its doors, GM Alava is certain that guests can look forward to exclusive packages that reflect the Wyndham Garden way of hospitality.
“We’re really taking the time to redefine what ‘guest experience’ means. From how reservations are handled to the check-in process, and even the way we say goodbye, we’re making sure each step feels seamless and personal. It’s all about creating a stay that guests will remember for the right reasons,” concludes GM Alava.
The next time you plan your much-needed rest close to nature, remember it doesn’t have to be outside of the city with Wyndham Garden Manila Bay.
