Croatian cellist Stjepan Hauser has made it his mission to unite the world through music by performing one song from every country in the world. For the Philippines, Hauser selected Freddy Aguilar's "Anak (Child/Children)."

“I want to prove, once and for all, that music connects and unites every nation, every culture, and every person on this planet, Hauser shares. "That’s why I decided to play one song from every single country. The project won’t stop until I’ve played a song from every corner of the world.”

"Anak" follows the journey of a child who decides to leave their family after wanting to take a different path. Its intro focuses largely on the sacrifices made by the parents to raise the child. As the child grows, they decide to go off on their own, ignoring their parents' advice, only to fall into a life of bad vices. It ends with the child returning home to their parents, accepting them back, and leaving the child regretful of their actions.
