Witness on flawed Mindoro dike: It may not serve purpose in coming years

MANILA, Philippines — A witness in the controversial flood control project in Naujan, Oriental Mindoro admitted that the substandard P289.5-million road dike “may have” served its purpose in protecting nearby communities from recent typhoons “this year.” However, it “may not” continue to do so in the coming years.
