Why do Filipinos love chismis?

The King of Talk Boy Abunda answered this question on the latest episode of "Your Honor" hosted by Buboy Villar and Tuesday Vargas.

Entertainment saka it's a sense of power, it's a sense of power that I'm able to talk about other people in this light 'di ba?" he said.

Iba na 'yun, harapan 'yun, diretsahan, " he added said.

Tito Boy also said that he reacts whenever people call him "purveyor ng tsimis," detailing the process they do in talk shows which includes researching about a certain issue.

Itatanong ba natin 'yan? Ano ba ang implication nito? Ano ba ang isina-suggest natin?'" he said.

"I did political shows, kung gaano kami kapulido, ka-thorough sa pagbi-brainstorm.

In the same vodcast, the Kapuso TV host admitted that he used to be uncomfortable with getting associated with gossip or chismis.

As the Philippines' King of Talk, Tito Boy has hosted several talk shows in the country such as "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda," which currently airs on GMA Network from Monday to Friday.

Meanwhile, "Your Honor" is a vodcast produced by GMA Network's YouLol Originals.
