What if you dreamt of a rose and woke up with it in your hand?
It is that magical moment when there is no line between dreams and reality, where we wonder what is really possible in this universe.
Over the weekend, I experienced one of those moments when I was introduced to a different kind of extravagance — the Lakambini Villa in the ultra-posh The Farm at San Benito. The Farm’stop-tier marketing duo, Jennifer Sanvictores and Kathy Solis, welcomed us to this award-winning wellness haven, which has earned over 100 recognitions from all over the world.
From the latest special massages and detox treatments to medical consultations, meal planning, and nutrition enhancement — plus a bevy of other new health modalities — The Farm proves to be a medical retreat in spa-radise.
Every aspect of our stay was designed to restore balance, nurture the body, and bring a sense of deep tranquility. When you go for an executive check-up in the hospital, they tell you what your health problems are. But when you go to The Farm in San Benito, they suggest lifetime and lifestye changes, solutions or even possible cures. They also introduce preventive actions or treatments for your optimum health.
The refreshing cascade of water in a tropical paradise
The last time I visited The Farm was over a decade ago, thus, I was extremely excited to try their new Aqua Therapies, which was perhaps one of the deepest experiences I’ve had for quite some time.
We learned that water has its own therapeutic benefits. Through generations, water has always been a symbol of rejuvenation and healing. Whether through a calming soak, invigorating cold plunge, or therapeutic hydrotherapy, the treatments offered here are meant to relax, detoxify, and bring back one’s internal balance. One of their specialty treatments, Water Wellness Therapy, was a multi-step journey — steam baths to open the pores, cold showers to invigorate, and pressure pools that felt like a thousand tiny hands releasing tension. The contrast between hot and cold awakened every sense, leaving us energized.
Floating weightlessly in a pod, free from noise and distractions, brought a sense of clarity in me. The Farm at San Benito also offers meaningful activities like yoga and Tibetan sound healing.
Truly, The Farm at San Benito relieves every aspect of stress in one’s body, mind and soul.

The Farm offers such treatments as the most modern and hygienic colema or colon hydrotherapies. A fusion of warm water mixed with coffee is flushed through one’s system. This is the latest modality for detoxification of the system resetting the gut to bring back the good bacteria which may have been stripped away by stress, diet, and lifestyle. Every treatment is carefully curated, guided by medical specialists who ensure that every step is tailored to what full healing really is for our bodies.
Unforgettable experiences here include viewing the round beautiful peaks where that beautiful cirrus cloud seems to kiss the mountaintop. This moment has the true star: The white peacock, whose elegant figure waits to show its plumage like a fan.
The Tibetan bells resonated in such a powerful way that one could feel their depth amid the crisp, icy air filling up the innermost space. Sitting still, our teacher spoke of how these bells and gongs heal and, in turn, align and restore us to our very core with even their deepest resonant sounds.
I have been visiting The Farm since its inception. Today, they have delicious new cuisines like Vegan, Vegetarian, Pescetarian, and Mediterranean diets. Familiar flavors included healthy food from Alive! restaurant, a gourmet, plant-based dining establishment emphasizing mostly whole, living foods rich in nutrients. With uncompromised farm-to-table freshness, it sources ingredients from The Farm’s organic garden. For guests on medical programs, Alive! provides bespoke transition diets and healing juices designed by chefs, doctors, and dieticians.
Epsom salt is infused into the Pod.
There are also Indian, French, and seafood cuisines that can be delivered straight to your luxurious villa through an in-house or room service.
Now, a new chapter unfolds for this wellness destination. Megaworld has announced San Benito Private Estate, a 25-hectare wellness township in Lipa, Batangas. This P12-billion project will bring residential homes, a hotel, and wellness amenities, with 50 percent of the estate dedicated to lush green spaces. Future residents will have direct access to The Farm at San Benito, making wellness not just a retreat but a way of life.
The cicada-like sound provided an amorously charming atmosphere while we rested on the lovely lanai chairs at the beautiful Lakambini Pool Villa.
It was pitch dark, yet we felt a warm light inside our hearts and souls. We felt like we were in the lush Amazon jungle, where the sound of silence brings joy within. Just like that rose, what I had only dreamt of just came true before me. Such creation is simply sublime, divine for when you’re closest to nature, God is, indeed, never far away.
