Waterbomb Manila 2025 Day 1: Kim Jong Kook, Chanyeol serenade Pinoy fans

Filipino fans had a blast on Day 1 of Waterbomb Manila 2025 at the Quirino Grandstand on Saturday!

"The Clash" star Thea Astley kicked off the festival with covers of "I'm A Slave 4 U" by Britney Spears and "Pink Pony Club" by Chappell Roan along with her debut single "Rather."

Festival-goers were fired up when iKon member B.I. went on stage showcasing his dance skills and screams got louder when he went outside the barricade.

"Running Man" star Kim Jong Kook turned back time with his 90s-inspired set while Dynamic duo made people nostalgic with their hit songs like "AEAO."

Lee Chae Yeon and Kwon Eunbi impressed people grooving to IZ*ONE songs while girl group STAYC StayC promised fans that they will come back in March.

Things got hotter when solo acts Baekho and Hwasa went on stage. Fans greeted them with loud cheers.

"Kababayan" Chanyeol concluded the first day of Waterbomb Festival with a bang. He performed the songs "Nothing," "Good Enough," and "Tomorrow."

DJs Apro, Imlay, J.E.B, DJ Roots, ZB & Ation, and Raiden pumped up the crowd in the middle of the performances.

The second day of Waterbomb Manila 2025 will be held on February 23, Sunday, with GOT7's Bambam and Jessi as some of the big acts.

Launched in 2015, the Waterbomb Festival features K-pop acts and international artists in South Korea and has expanded in various countries including the Philippines.

It involves numerous water-based activities with attendees teaming up with their favorite artists.
