MANILA, Philippines – A group of Catholics gathered for a Mass at EDSA Shrine on Wednesday, March 12, a day after President Rodrigo Duterte was arrested over a crimes against humanity complaint at the International Criminal Court.

One of those who joined the Mass, led by the group Clergy for Good Governance, was Sister Evelyn Jose.

Jose, a member of the Holy Spirit Missionary Sisters, explained to Rappler why she is thankful to God after Duterte’s arrest.
