The Makati Subway is now caught between land dispute, arbitration case, and feud between Binay sisters
The Makati Subway, set to be the Philippines’ first underground rail system, was supposed to be operational by 2025.
But the project remains in limbo due to a boundary dispute between Makati City and Taguig City, a feud between sisters Mayor Nancy Binay and former mayor Abby Binay, and arbitration case in Singapore.
