Augustinian priest Father Peter Casiño shows photos of the past Philippine trips of Father Robert Prevost, now Pope Leo XIV
MANILA, Philippines – Soon after Cardinal Robert Prevost was elected Pope Leo XIV, photos of the new pontiff in the Philippines went viral on social media.
Father Peter Casiño, local prior of Seminario San Agustin Intramuros, shows photos of the times Prevost visited the Philippines over the past 15 years, when he was still the head of the Augustinian religious order worldwide.
In this interview with Rappler’s Paterno Esmaquel II, Casiño also gives a brief tour of San Agustin Church, which the pontiff once visited.
