US President Donald Trump’s hardline approach to immigrants and even visitors is sending tremors across the world. Even a Green Card holder who’s lived in the US for half a century wasn’t spared — she was detained upon returning to the US after a trip to the Philippines.
Even visitors with all the necessary documents have been harassed at airports — tourists and professionals from Europe, an actress from Canada, the list goes on. The mess has clearly spilled beyond illegal migrants or those suspected of criminal activity.
