Impeachment complaints against Vice President Sara Duterte take center stage in a press conference at EDSA Shrine
MANILA, Philippines – Priests and activists held a press conference at EDSA Shrine on Thursday afternoon, January 16, on the three impeachment complaints filed against Vice President Sara Duterte.
The press conference was joined by prominent personalities such as Father Flavie Villanueva, a critic of former president Rodrigo Duterte’s war on drugs, and former senator Leila de Lima.
It took place after a 2 pm Mass for peace and justice at EDSA Shrine, or the Shrine of Mary, Queen of Peace, Our Lady of EDSA, in Quezon City.
