Wage hikes take effect in Regions 10, 13 on Labor Day, says DOLE

MANILA, Philippines — Workers in Regions 10 and 13 celebrated Labor Day on Friday with higher daily minimum wages ranging from P475 to P500, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) said. Beginning May 1, the daily minimum wage in Region 10 rose to P500 from P485 following the implementation of the second tranche of P14.
