The occasion highlighted Volvo Philippines’ reimagination of moving through the world with confidence, care and responsibility.

The exclusive event was graced by top regional and local executives, among them Kelvin Xu Ying Yi, managing director, Asia-Pacific Importers, and Mikael Hagsten-Nielsen, retail operations and aftermarket manager, Asia-Pacific Importers of Volvo Cars Corp.; Richard Lee, chairman; Maria Fe Perez-Agudo, vice chairman, president and CEO; and Ladislao Avila Jr., director, treasurer, and CFO of Hariphil Asia Resources Inc. (HARI), the official distributor of Volvo in the country.

Anchored on “Volvo: Being Alive,” HARI’s pioneering movement to foster a culture of safety in the country, the event unveiled two new amazing additions to Volvo PH’s premium SUV lineup — the Volvo XC90 PHEV and Volvo XC60 PHEV.

“This moment isn’t just about unveiling a product; it’s about affirming a mindset. At Volvo, we see every innovation as an expression of leadership that values life, and a shared responsibility to shape mobility with a mindset for care. Safety isn’t just what we build. It is founded on a simple principle: to use technology to continuously improve lives, with safety and sustainability as part of our DNA,” Agudo shared.
