The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said the FB Goldan (Bagito) was sailing near Sabangan Point when its engine malfunctioned.

MANILA, Philippines — Twelve fishermen were rescued after their vessel developed engine trouble and drifted in the waters off Subic, Zambales on Thursday.
The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said the FB Goldan (Bagito) was sailing near Sabangan Point when its engine malfunctioned.
The PCG said it deployed the BRP Cape San Agustin after receiving distress calls from the Goldan.
The Agustin towed the Goldan toward the port of Subic, where the fishermen were given medical attention.
