MANILA, Philippines — The University of the Philippines has extended the UP College Admission Test (UPCAT) applications until April 13.

The deadline for the UPCAT applications was supposed to end on March 30.

“Grade 11 students this academic year or incoming first year students for 2027-2028 must submit their application or Form 1 at https://upcat2027online.up.edu.ph/,” UP said on Facebook. 

The completion of Form 2A and confirmation of students by senior high schools is likewise extended until April 24.

“Do not withdraw if you have entered any incorrect information in your application. For concerns, please visit the online helpdesk at https://bit.lyupcat2027onlinehelpdesk,” the university said.

The UPCAT 2027 will be held on Aug. 1 and 2.

The results of the 2026 UPCAT are expected to be released this month.

Only 17,996 or 13 percent of the 135,236 applicants passed the 2025 UPCAT.
