TXT is coming to deliver K-Pop’s newest Song of the Summer!

In a Weverse post on Monday, TXT announced the release of their new digital single “Love Language” on May 2, 1 p.m. KST.

According to the post, the new song is a blend of a bright and cheerful melody that mixed the Afro-house genre with “TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s signature refreshing energy.”

“‘Love Language’ offers a sound that captures the light and vibrant spirit of the coming season,” the announcement read.

In an article by Billboard, it was confirmed that Love Language featured lyrics written by Hueningkai, and was similar to their previous tracks “Our Summer, “No Rules,” and “I’ll See You There Tomorrow.”

The release was first teased at the group’s “Act Promise Episode 2” in Incheon, South Korea on March 9.

On March 31, a wheel puzzle solved with the words “Love Language” was released, following several posts of pick-up lines and love posts on their Instagram as part of their April Fool’s Joke on April 1.

An official date was announced during the group’s performance as headliners for Axe Ceremonia in Mexico City last April 5.

The digital single “Love Language” follows the release of Beomgyu’s mixtape “Panic” in March and the group’s 7th mini album “The Name Chapter: Sanctuary” last November.
