MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Storm Domeng will enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) today, but it is not expected to make landfall.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the storm was last spotted at 1,245 kilometers east of Southeastern Luzon.
Domeng was moving north-northwestward, packing winds of 75 km per hour and gusts of 90 kph.
PAGASA weather specialist Charmange Varilla said Domeng would intensify into a typhoon tomorrow.
