MANILA, Philippines — Part three of the Trillion Peso March is set to take place on February 25, coinciding with the anniversary of the People Power Revolution.

The anti-corruption rally will be organized by Caritas Philippines, the social action arm of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines, along with civil society organizations such as the Trillion Peso March Movement.

In a press conference on Wednesday, February 11, Kiko Aquino-Dee, co-convenor of the "Buhayin ang People Power Movement," explained that there will be activities in the days leading up to the February 25 rally.

The activities will run from February 22 to February 23.

On February 25, the Trillion Peso March will consist of "several activities in multiple points along EDSA" starting at 7 a.m.

The Mass during the march will be presided over by Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop Socrates Villegas, a protégé of former Manila Archbishop Cardinal Jaime Sin.

When asked if the movement will shift its stance on calling for the resignation of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte in light of recent impeachment filings, Aquino-Dee clarified that while the coalition does not comment on or take offense at such demands, seeking resignations is currently not part of their official platform.

"We want to be clear that we don't think those calls are against the Constitution it is the right of every citizen to call whatever call they officially want to make such resignations and those who are responsible," Aquino-Dee said.

"That being said, again what we want to distance ourselves from or anything that is anything outside the bounds of the 1987 Constitution to some things like withdrawals of support from a revolutionary government and other sort of violent forces," he added.

Tito Caluag, executive director of Caritas Philippines, also emphasized that the Church is for the "rule of law and the respect of the Constitution."

"Tandaan natin na mahalgang panawagan ang pag-amin ng mga may-sala. At pagbabalik ng perang ninakaw, at hustisya na may karampatang parusa. Doon mangyayari ang paghihilom," Caluag said.

(Let's keep in mind that it is vital to call for the admission of guilt from the offenders. The return of stolen wealth and justice—coupled with appropriate punishment—is essential. Only then can true healing begin.)

The first Trillion Peso March took place on Sept. 21, 2025, as a protest against corruption.

The second march occurred on Nov. 30, 2025, coinciding with Bonifacio Day.
