For context, it was since last week where the OTP issue happened and I thought the OTP sender's side was the problem when I was fixing something online (digital banking) the day prior. I did all kinds of troubleshoots on my device and nothing worked.
As soon as I tried to use a different app, not only was the OTP not being received, but calls (code confirmation) are also not going through. At this point, I realized the problem was my SIM card, not the OTP sender.

I also tried loading my phone number as part of the troubleshoot via GCash and it was repeatedly being refunded (-, +, -, +, -, +...).

I wanted to find ways whether my SIM card had been deactivated, expired, or turned defective. I started testing the waters and texting with this displaying. Dialing or calling *143# doesn't work since the button doesn't get pressed (where normally, it should display the Balance Inquiry).
I also realized just now someone said they couldn't contact my phone number (during last last week) so they resorted to using Messenger.

Attempting to seek help from TM (Messenger Chat) allowed me to determine if my phone number was dead. They said my "account is active" and that was the most the chat support could help me with.

I searched online and they said that a good indicator the SIM card was faulty was the "Emergency calls only" popping out.

Another indicator is analyzing the SIM Card Status which displayed this.
Thoughts? The simpler and less arduous the solution, the better. Changing devices as troubleshoot is also out of the option.
