Condolences and tribute messages continue to pour in online as fans, friends, and colleagues mourn the passing of beloved veteran actor and director Ricky Davao.

Among those who shared their grief and memories were celebrity couple Tirso Cruz III and Lynn Ynchausti, who both penned touching tributes on Instagram to honor one of their dearest friends.

Tirso Cruz III posted a heartfelt message along with a series of throwback photos that captured the bond he shared with Ricky.

"He was truly a man of many talents," Tirso wrote. "We had a unique and weird way of showing how we cared for each other. we called it KARIÑO BRUTAL! That was our crazy way of having fun by verbally destroying each other. (pero lambing lang namin 'yun sa isa't isa)."

He also recalled one particularly emotional memory, "But we also had our serious times and conversations. He was a strong willed man but also a gentle and loving son. I will never forget an incident. He was at a location shoot out of town when he got the news that his dad passed away. He called me right away. I remembered he was calling from a public place, but he didn't care if people around were watching while he was crying his heart. This was when I saw the tenderness in his heart. How he truly loved and cared for his father."

Tirso ended his tribute with a final farewell to his longtime friend and kumpare, "I will never forget you Ricky. You will always have a special place in my heart, my friend and Kumpare (Rikki Mae his daughter is my goddaughter). Be with the Lord now."

Meanwhile, Lynn Ynchausti also shared her fond memories of Ricky whom she affectionately called “Mr. Ricky Drown.”

" We have known each other since 1979 when we used to do ramp modelling at Philippine Village Hotel's luncheon fashion shows, and we did a couple of shows for Levis, Wrangler and other gala shows. It was fun working with him. He was Mr. Congeniality!" Lynn wrote.

She went on to reminisce about their travels together, including a treasured trip to the U.S. to watch the NBA All-Star Game. It was an unforgettable core memory for Lynn and Ricky as it was their first flight to America.

"We were really in tears when the plane landed. It was a dream come true for us. Ricky was a real fun person to be with, especially when he and my husband would tease each other as if they hate one another. In reality, they are magkumpare because Rikki Mae is my husband's goddaughter," she reminisced.

Lynn ended her tribute with a message filled with love, "We will miss you Mr. Ricky Drown! Our family loves you! Enjoy heaven and the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!"

Followers of the couple flooded both posts with condolence and comforting messages. Some also took the chance to honor Ricky's legacy and kindness.
