MANILA, Philippines — Coming this March 10, Tilcrest will host a Professional Roofing Installation Certification Program at the Alabang Country Club, free for qualified roofing partners.

This exclusive program will feature Decra, the original producer of stone-coated metal roofing from New Zealand, and IKO Shingles, a leading global innovator and manufacturer of asphalt shingles from Canada.

Organized by Tilcrest, a trusted name in premium roofing brand distribution and a business sector under Ascend Building Solutions Inc., the program will provide expansive lecture models, live product features and installation demonstrations and first-hand exposure to innovations redefining modern roofing standards across the globe.

The program will be led by Scott Caskey, Gerard Roofs’ Decra technical manager, who brings years of experience in the roofing industry and has made esteemed contributions to Decra and IKO’s international prestige and performance.

He will be joined by Alex Kwon, Export Sales Manager at Gerard Roofs.

With the growth of the roofing industry, Tilcrest also aims to provide proper education on roofing installation methods and products to increase client satisfaction and reduce unexpected product failures, improper installations and potential safety concerns.

Showcasing Decra’s world’s-first Concealed Fastening

The program will also present an installation demonstration of IKO’s architectural asphalt shingles: the Cambridge profile. IKO’s asphalt shingles are designed to have the following features:
