Subsequent search by the authorities also led in the recovery of the marked money used in the operation.

In another operation conducted by joint operatives of the Cavite Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) and Dasmariñas CCPS in Barangay Salawag, two more big-time pushers were arrested.

They were identified as alias Kay, 34, and alias Francisco, 55.

Recovered from them were six sachets of shabu weighing 50 grams, valued at P340,000, a mobile phone, and the marked buy-bust money.

Regional director BGen. Paul Kenneth Lucas commended the operatives for apprehending the big-time pushers.

"These successful operations prove our firm commitment to combat illegal drugs," said Lucas as he acknowledged the operatives' stance against illegal drugs in the community.

"We will not stop until we rid our communities of these threats and bring these individuals to justice," said Lucas, adding that "PRO-Calabarzon stands firm in protecting our people and ensuring a safer future for all."

The arrested suspects were brought to Dasmariñas CCPS along with the seized evidence for proper disposition. Cases for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Article II of RA 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared for filing in court.
