The Ayala Museum in Makati City is offering free admission for one day on Sunday, April 27 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.), as it opens its latest exhibit this weekend.
The "Amorsolo: Chroma" is the museum's newest exhibition and will run from April 25 to September 5. The interactive exhibit is in celebration of the anniversary of Fernando Amorsolo's conferment of the National Artist title.
Amorsolo, also known as the "Grand Old Man of Philippine Art," is the first declared National Artist of the Philippines. He was posthumously conferred the title of National Artist for Visual Arts on April 28, 1972, four days after his death.
The "Amorsolo: Chroma" exhibit allows guests to interact with Amorsolo's art through an interactive section of paint-by-color walls, color vision deficiency (CVD) digital stations with EnChroma glasses, and a light room that shows how color works. Guided tours for the Deaf community are also available.
Pre-registration for free admission day on Sunday is required due to limited slots. You may pre-register on Ayala Museum's website.
