A new mentorship program offers Filipino designers an opportunity of a lifetime to showcase their talent on the global stage.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM), has launched the FASHIONPhilippines Milan Mentorship Program 2025.

This fashion initiative is in partnership with the Philippine Fashion Coalition, LIT Fashion Consultancy, and the Fondazione Sozzani. The program will culminate in a three-day exhibition at the Fondazione Sozzani in Milan, Italy, from September 23 to 25, coinciding with Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2026.

Ten to 15 Filipino designers and brands will be selected to showcase their collections in the same space that has hosted works by fashion and art icons such as Yayoi Kusama and Maison Martin Margiela.

Before the exhibition, participants will receive hands-on mentoring from a panel of fashion leaders, including Sara Sozzani Maino, Riccardo Grassi, and Niccolò Pasqualetti, to name a few.

The FASHIONPhilippines Milan Mentorship Program 2025 applications will be open until June 14. Here are the requirements and criteria:

  • Must be a member of the Philippine Fashion Coalition (PFC)
  • Must have a registered business in the Philippines for at least two years
