HSBC Premier hosted an elegant evening for its valued cardholders at The Peninsula Manila, transforming the grand lobby into a spectacular immersive showcase of global living.
The dazzling presentation featured thoughtfully curated spaces where guests journeyed through the “Worlds of Opportunity” — Wealth, Health, Travel, and International — pillars that define the HSBC Premier lifestyle. Designed for globally minded individuals, the card offers privileged travel benefits, international banking access, wealth solutions, and exclusive lifestyle experiences that move seamlessly across borders.
HSBC Philippines head of international wealth and premier banking Pramoth Rajendran reinforced what it means to be living a Premier life: “We understand what success means for our customers, and that includes having the freedom to grow, explore, protect what matters most, and most importantly, the freedom to belong anywhere in the world.”
Luxury partners such as Cartier, Roger Vivier, and Faure Le Page showcased exclusive collections with interactive experiences and travel-inspired lounges were on display, culminating in an elegant dinner and musical finale celebrating HSBC Premier’s promise of a truly global way of life.

Growing older, living better with Citoy Lopez and Wito Quimson

Celebrant Citoy Lopez, Eva Abesamis Lopez
Birthdays become even more meaningful with the passing years, especially when celebrated in good health and in the company of cherished friends. Citoy Lopez and Wito Tuason Quimson recently marked their special days in intimate gatherings, each reflecting on life with gratitude and humor.
At 82 years young, Citoy remains mentally sharp and physically active. In a dinner organized by his loving wife, Eva Abesamis, he cheerfully shared the secret to his vitality and credits, “good health and simply being alive at my age,” adding with a grin. “Perhaps a steady supply of energy snacks — and maybe learning to dance new steps at RJ Bistro — helps keep the spirit young.”
Meanwhile, Wito was feted by her BFF and childhood friend, former Senator Jamby Madrigal, who hosted a small gathering of chosen friends at Shangri-La at The Fort. Reflecting on life, Wito shared that health is greater than wealth, and that harmonious friendships become ever more meaningful with time.
