3 days ago 7

HTC has quietly introduced the Wildfire E5 Plus, a budget-friendly smartphone targeting entry-level users. The device features a 6.75-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 720p+ resolution, likely utilizing an IPS LCD panel.

Under the hood, the Wildfire E5 Plus is powered by a Unisoc T606 chipset, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSD card slot. Notably, the chipset lacks 5G support, aligning with the phone’s budget positioning.

In terms of photography, the smartphone boasts a dual-camera setup on the rear, comprising a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there’s a 16MP front-facing camera housed within a teardrop notch.

The Wildfire E5 Plus draws power from a 5,000 mAh battery, though details about its charging capabilities have not been disclosed. The device runs on Android 14 out of the box.

Currently, the HTC Wildfire E5 Plus is available in Vietnam, priced at VND 2,379,000 (approximately $93). Information regarding a global release has yet to be announced.
