"The Conjuring" has released the official trailer for its fourth and final film.
Titled "The Conjuring: Last Rites," the film brings back Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga to reprise the roles of Ed and Lorraine Warren, real-life paranormal investigators, whose cases have been the spotlight of "The Conjuring" series.
In the trailer, Ed said that he and Lorraine have worked on thousands of cases. Familiar faces and objects were shown such as Valak, the terrifying nun, and Annabelle, the demonic doll.
Also shown were Ed and Lorraine’s daughter Judy Warren (Mia Tomlinson) and her boyfriend, Tony Spera (Ben Hardy), who were ot spared from paranormal terrors.
"Discover why this case was their last," the trailer said.
Directed by Michael Chaves, "The Conjuring: Last Rites" will be released in international theaters on September 3. It will be the last film that's centered around the Warrens.
The first "The Conjuring" movie was released in 2013. The third installment, "The Devil Made Me Do It," premiered in 2021. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
