CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Police have identified the suspect in the murder of a barangay watchman and a vendor in Dasmariñas, Cavite on Wednesday.

Probers withheld the identity of the gunman so as not to compromise police operations, Dasmariñas police chief Lt. Col. MacArthur Mercader said.

Video footage of a closed-circuit television camera installed near the crime scene led police to the identity of the gunman.

On the video, the motorcycle-riding suspect was seen pulling over along Crispulo road in Barangay Anabu 2-E. He removed his helmet and changed his clothes before speeding away.

Probers said the killing could be job-related.
