MANILA, Philippines — The De La Salle University confirmed that a student fell one floor from a DLSU building yesterday.
“The student received immediate medical attention from the university clinic,” the DLSU said on social media, adding that the student was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
“School administrators are currently in close coordination with the student’s guardian to ensure they receive all necessary support,” the DLSU said.
The school added: “Out of respect for the student’s well-being and the family’s privacy during this sensitive time, we ask for everyone’s cooperation in maintaining a supportive and compassionate environment. The safety and welfare of our students remain our highest priority.”
The DLSU urged the Lasallian community and the public to refrain from circulating unverified information or engaging in speculation regarding the circumstances of the incident.
