MANILA, Philippines — An owner of one of the biggest families on streaming platform Bigo Live gave tips to aspiring streamers to better curate their content.

In an interview with Philstar.com, Archangel Family owner Animo Cali said aspiring streamers should have an "entertainment character."

"In this streaming platform, you don't have to sing or dance. As long as you have this entertainment character na nagpapasaya ka sa mga viewers mo. That's it," Animo explained. "All you have to do is build yourself, entertain people, do friendship with other people."

"Just be yourself, and one good thing also is to develop their self-confidence. Hindi lang basta income," he added.

Animo said shared his family is fairly new to Big Live having just started last January. Today the Archangels Family consisting of influencers, singers and celebrities is one of the top performing families with around 2,000 members.

He explained further that their main market are migrant workers, "This is real time which means hindi siya recorded. Anytime they can go to Bigo Live and stream. And through gifting they receiving their compensations as streamers."

"Basically during their first months, they are trying to do three to five hours and then once they get established, they just go live one to two hours and earn P100,000 in a month. One of my streamers earn P300 a month," Animo ended.
