The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said that Hagupit was last spotted at 2,185 kilometers east of northeastern Mindanao.

MANILA, Philippines — A tropical storm with the international name Hagupit is likely to enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) this week.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said that Hagupit was last spotted at 2,185 kilometers east of northeastern Mindanao.
The storm is moving westward at 15 kilometers per hour and packing winds of 65 kph with gusts of 80 kph.
PAGASA weather forecaster Benison Estareja said the storm would be given the name Caloy once it enters PAR by tomorrow afternoon or evening or Saturday.z
