MANILA, Philippines — The Southern Police District has seized nearly P5 million worth of illegal drugs in separate operations on Friday and yesterday, the SPD reported.
In Parañaque, a 32-year-old suspected kingpin, identified only as Genesis, was arrested in a sting operation yesterday. Police confiscated over P3.5 million worth of illegal drugs.
A high-value target, identified only as Christopher, was arrested at a public transport terminal in Muntinlupa at 2 a.m. yesterday. Police seized 207 grams of shabu valued at P1.4 million from the suspect.
“We will not allow illegal drugs to take root in our communities. Our personnel remain relentless in enforcing the law and ensuring offenders are held accountable,” SPD chief Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo said in a statement.
On Friday, police arrested a street-level drug peddler in Taguig and seized at least 21 grams of shabu worth P144,000 were recovered. .
