Sotto signs bill suspending fuel excise tax

MANILA, Philippines – Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III on Monday signed the bill seeking to suspend the fuel excise tax. In a message to reporters, Sotto said he had received the two enrolled copies of Senate Bill No. 1982, which amends the National Internal Revenue Code to allow sitting presidents to reduce or suspend
