Solon urges gov’t to do more than rely on oil price rollbacks

MANILA, Philippines — The government should do more to ease the economic impact of soaring oil prices beyond price rollbacks, Ako Bicol Rep. Alfredo Garbin Jr. said on Saturday. The observation comes as elevated fuel costs from the Middle East conflict remain well above the pre-war levels. He recommended that authorities implement targeted tax credits,
