CITY OF ILAGAN — A 20-year-old Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) chairman died after his motorcycle slammed into a parked car along the shoulder of the na-tional road in Barangay Malalam on Wednesday at around 2:30 in the morning, police said.
The fatality was identified as Aerome Jose Cabalonga, a third-year nursing student and incumbent SK chairman of Centro San Antonio.
Cabalonga suffered head injuries that caused his death. His Honda ADV 160 motorcycle was heavily damaged.
Cpt. Noralyn Andal, Ilagan police spokesman, said on Wednesday that they were looking into the liability of the Mitsubishi Mirage car owner who had been parking her sedan at the national road's shoulder daily in front of their house.
Cabalonga, who was allegedly reeking with liquor, was on his way home after attending a party with friends in the poblacion when the accident hap-pened.

His body was still brought to the provincial government-run Faustino Dy Memorial Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
