MANILA, Philippines — Companies linked to e-commerce platform Shopee dominated Mandaluyong City’s roster of top taxpayers, with Shopee Philippines Inc. and SPX Philippines Inc. taking the top two spots.

In a statement on February 10, Mayor Menchie Abalos said the city recognized its Top 10 Taxpayers during Business Night 2026, held as part of Mandaluyong’s 81st Liberation Day and 32nd Cityhood Anniversary celebration.

Shopee Philippines Inc. ranked first, while SPX Philippines Inc. placed second. SPX Philippines is Shopee’s logistics arm.

Also in the top three was Seamoney (Credit) Finance Phil Inc., another company affiliated with Shopee’s parent group.

Rounding out the list were:

  • Top 4: Maya Philippines Inc, a fintech firm offering digital payments, e-wallet and financial services.
  • Top 5: First Asia Realty Development Corp, a property development company.
  • Top 6: United Laboratories, one of the Philippines’ largest pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors.
  • Top 7: BDO Unibank, the country’s largest bank in terms of assets.
  • Top 8: Shangri-La Plaza Corp, the operator and developer of the Shangri-La Plaza Mall in Mandaluyong’s part of Ortigas Center.
  • Top 9: Bank of Commerce, a commercial bank.
  • Top 10: Maya Bank, the digital banking arm of the Maya group.

Abalos thanked the city’s leading taxpayers for supporting public services and local development.

“Taos puso po ang ating pasasalamat sa ating mga Taxpayers bilang ating katuwang sa kaunlaran at pamamahala at kaagapay sa pagbibigay serbisyo publiko sa Mandaleño,” she said.

The mayor added that the local government recognizes the companies' contributions to economic growth and continued progress.
