KC Concepcion was in for a sweet 40th birthday surprise—her mom Sharon Cuneta flew to Amanpulo to be with her for her celebration.
On Instagram, KC posted a photo of her and the Megastar sharing a big hug.
“Mama flew into the island and surprised me on my birthday~ her presence and attention meant so much to me! This hug says it all! I love you,” the actress and designer said.
KC also said, “There’s something about being by the ocean~ soft and steady, yet fierce when it needs to be. I’ve learned to respect it in all its ways. Just like a mother’s love. Just like God’s.
She also shared the bible verse, “Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things,” from 1 Corinthians 13:7.
“Thankful for family, friends, and praying for the consistent/authentic kind of love that knows how to pour into you, truly take care of you, and really make life worth living,” KC added.
Sharon and KC have reunited several times recently after not seeing each other for a while.
KC made a memorable guest appearance at Sharon and Gabby Concepcion’s reunion concert, Dear Heart, in 2023.
In December 2024, KC said she is "ending the year right" by having a meaningful conversation with her mom.
The mother and daughter also spent Christmas together.
Recently, KC designed a special jewelry piece for Sharon.
