Globe Business, Globe Telecom Inc.’s information and communication technology unit, has partnered with food service group Shakey’s Pizza Asia Ventures Inc. (SPAVI) to upgrade its order management system, further improving operational efficiency.
Globe Business said in a statement that it will deploy cloud-based solutions to address operational inefficiencies within SPAVI.
These solutions, which strive to reduce manual processes, include access to point-of-sale (POS) systems, centralized data-sharing, and real-time monitoring.
“This partnership with SPAVI isn’t just about providing technology; it’s about a shared vision for the future of the [food and beverage] industry,” said Globe Business Head KD Dizon.
“We’re confident that together, we will redefine what’s possible in the restaurant experience,” she added.
The partnership with Globe Business comes at a pivotal time for SPAVI, which is currently expanding its portfolio.
As a major player in casual dining chain restaurants with Shakey’s Pizza, SPAVI has since expanded into a multi-brand portfolio that includes Potato Corner, Peri-Peri, R&B Milk Tea, and Project Pie.

Last year, SPAVI’s business empire exceeded 2,600 stores and outlets, with domestic and international expansion accelerating its growth.
According to Globe Business, its digital solutions will also cater to SPAVI’s data-related needs, inventory management, order accuracy, and overall business operations.
