Based on the initial report of the Tanza Police, the explosion occurred at around 6 a.m. at Leon Fojas Street in Barangay Sahud-Ulan, Tanza.

The Tanza Bureau of Fire Protection, led by Fire Senior Insp. Armand Lee Andres, arrived at the scene and discovered paraphernalia and equipment used to cook drugs upon checking the house, where the explosion occurred.

The responding policemen failed to apprehend the suspects who had already escaped.

People living in the area said the house occupants were only renting the house, whose owner is in another country.
