Seo In Guk got to experienced Boracay’s magic for the first time!
In photos posted by the Department of Tourism (DOT) on Facebook, the South Korean actor and singer was seen enjoying the island’s white sand, trying out the tourist-favorite crystal kayak in Station 1, and touring aboard a yacht.
According to the DOT, he also enjoyed an early morning golf session, interacted with Filipino fans, and tried local dishes like sinigang and sisig.
Seo In Guk was named a DOT ambassador this month.
"Mr. Seo In Guk's artistry has cultivated a deep connection with Filipino fans and other people all over the world, making him an ideal representative to share the wonders of the Philippines to the world," said Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco.
Frasco said Seo In Guk will be instrumental in promoting the Philippines as a must-visit destination for South Koreans through digital content.
Seo In Guk and Blackpink’s Jisoo were also spotted in Cebu recently to film for their upcoming series, “Boyfriend on Demand.”
In 2023, Seo In Guk visited Manila for a fan meeting.
Seo In Guk is best known for his roles in “Reply 1997,” “The Master's Sun,” and “Hello Monster.”
He has also released OSTs for K-Dramas. His songs include, “My Love,” “All for You,” and “Distant Fate.”
