Senators say order to return P60B PhilHealth fund a ‘welcome correction’

MANILA, Philippines — Sens. JV Ejercito and Christopher “Bong” Go lauded the order to return P60 billion in excess funds to the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), saying it was a “welcome correction.” The Supreme Court (SC) on Friday ruled in favor of returning P60 billion in excess funds from the National Treasury to PhilHealth.
