MANILA, Philippines – The Senate Proactive Response and Oversight for Timely and Effective Crisis Strategy (PROTECT) ad hoc committee on Monday, April 13, discusses updates on government interventions to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

The hearing comes as President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Sunday, April 12, announced a rollback in pump prices of up to P20 per liter for diesel and P4.43 per liter for gasoline. The reduction in fuel prices is set to take effect on Tuesday, April 14.
