MANILA, Philippines — Security Bank Corp. has partnered with two AC Health subsidiaries to extend financing support to health care dealers and distributors nationwide, as demand for medical products and services continues to grow.

Security Bank said it signed a partnership with I.E. Medica and MedEthix to provide accredited dealers and distributors access to its Dealer Financing Program.

The program offers short-term revolving credit lines and inventory financing to help businesses manage working capital, improve liquidity and increase their purchasing capacity.

Security Bank said the partnership is expected to support a more efficient health care supply chain by allowing dealers and distributors to better manage inventory and respond faster to market demand.

“This partnership reflects our focus on supporting the healthcare sector, which plays a vital role in both the economy and public well-being,” said Yvonne Joanna Marcelo, senior vice president and Corporate Banking Group head at Security Bank.

“By working with I.E. Medica and MedEthix, we aim to help their dealer and distributor network operate more efficiently, strengthen their businesses, and keep pace with growing demand,” Marcelo said.

The bank did not disclose the size of the financing facility or the number of dealers and distributors expected to benefit from the partnership.

I.E. Medica and MedEthix form part of AC Health’s pharmaceutical and health care distribution network. The two companies deliver health care products, medical devices and health care solutions to hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and other health care providers across the country.

Security Bank said access to financing has become more important for health care distributors as they maintain inventory levels, expand their reach and respond to the needs of hospitals, clinics and pharmacies.

“Through this strategic collaboration with Security Bank, we reinforce our collective mission to strengthen the health care sector by equipping our downstream dealers with reliable financial solutions that fuel their business growth and sustainable nationwide reach,” Monaliza Salian, president and CEO of IE Medica and MedEthix, said.

The partnership forms part of Security Bank’s broader push to support key growth sectors of the economy through financing solutions that help businesses strengthen operations, expand responsibly and better serve customers.
